Appian · Stunning Renovated home, Pool & Heated Spa

The home was in great condition when we arrived, it's an older home that has some bumps and nicks on the walls which made it like a home and not sterile and afraid to touch anything. When you walk in the door the first thing you see is an air hockey game, it worked but was showing its age, and an old-style stand-up Pacman game, our son and grandson loved that. The three bedrooms were very nice, very clean and ready for us to use. The beds were comfortable to sleep in. The two bathrooms were very clean and stocked with all the necessities and a nice backup supply if needed.The living room was very comfortable with nice furniture and a big screen TV, and adjacent to the living room was the formal dining room, clean and ready to use but we did not use it at all.The kitchen was up to date with modern appliances and every kind of pots and pans needed for our stay, but since we were visiting family, we only used the kitchen for our water, pop and snacks. The kitchen would have been perfect to use every day if we were cooking there and having meals.From the room with the games was the door to the backyard, and what a backyard it is. An awesome pool with an attached hot tub, sparkling water and very clean. The only problem we had the whole time was with the hot tub, but it was fixed with a couple of emails.For us the best part of the VERBO is the view. It's in a very nice neighborhood and you look one way and its mountains, turn around and the land slopes to the Strip and valley

We stayed for 5 nights while in town for a wedding. I had my husband, baby, and parents and there was plenty of room for all of us. There are definitely things that could use some attention with this property and I’m very disappointed with the owners communication. With that being said it was okay for a short visit but I wouldn’t book again until the owner made some changes. Below is a list of the major things. Cons:Could use a good deep clean, the bathrooms, vents, and windows haven’t been cleaned in agesRecliner couch had a broken foot restNeeds new bath towels and mPros:Well stocked with essentials; coffee, extra blankets, kitchen itemsHot tub heated up quicklyWasher/dryer was nice

The house is as described. Only issue was I had submitted a question about a possible early check in and did not receive an answer only a generic check in response. There was standing water in the dishwasher that stank to high heaven but we ran a cycle through it and that cleared it up. The pool and hot tub worked without any issues whatsoever. All appliances worked without issue other then noted.

We absolutely loved the Spa in the enevings to relax. The home has all we needed abd more. Beds were comfy, clean place, location close to the freeway and many great places to eat in downtown henderson. Prompt communication with hosts. This is our new goto.
